ARC Broker Services Ltd is a commercial insurance broker offering an around the clock claims service to all of its customers. In addition to the Commercial Insurance Broking, we can offer Health and Safety Risk Assessments, we have a partner business for asset and other forms of commercial finance, access to FORS training within the Haulage Industry and Neuro Linguistic Programming that can be added as an additional service to help customers achieve and obtain the results they require from their customers and workforce.

ARC was set up by myself in August 2018 after I worked for an Insurance Broker for over 20 years and I have now reached the point where I am at full capacity with administration and in order to grow the business and move it forward I need somebody who shares my passion, desire, dreams and enthusiasm to grow.

ARC Broker Services Ltd is a Commercial Insurance Broker looking for a Business Administrator to work directly with the Director to help with the day to day administration and show willing in helping to grow the business and achieve success.

Vacancy Full Description

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Taking and Making Telephone Calls on behalf of the Director, in particular taking messages on her behalf when she is out on meetings
  • Using the Acturis Insurance Software (Full Training to be Provided)
  • Using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint for various different reports, letters, accounts and invoices
  • Managing the Directors Diary and your own Diary
  • Meet and Greet Visitors
  • Help Produce Compliant Business Documents
  • Help to Collate and Report Data
  • Help to put together a CRM System for Prospecting Use and Mailchimp
  • Work Shadow the Director to enhance own skills
  • Help with uploading receipts to the accounting system used
  • Updates on Social Media Account FB, LI and Twitter
  • Help run a blog on the website
  • Use Email and send/receive email on behalf of the Director
  • Deliver an exceptional Customer Service
  • Attend Exhibitions with Director as and when

Skills Required

Must have the following skills:

  • Have the ability to respect other people’s belief’s and values whilst making sure that you take care of yourself

  • Seeing every one of your actions as best you can whilst striving to learn more

  • You must be skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems including Microsoft Office (full training will be provided for the bespoke Insurance Software)
  • Organisational Skills are a must – you will be required to produce accurate records and documents and have the ability to review the Directors work

  • Take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks

Must have the following attributes;

  • Be able to work alone (there will be periods when the Director is on appointments and you will be in the office)

Qualifications Required

  • 4 GCSE including Maths and English Level 4 and/or above
  • Cert CII or above preferred but not essential
