It covers the fundamental principles, theories and models of CBT needed to treat a range of mental health disorders.
Through this course, you will explore Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), therapeutic alliance, ethical codes, ethical principles in therapy, psychoeducation, psychotherapy, comorbid diseases, and the NICE guidelines in England. Furthermore, you will learn how to set goals, avoid challenges, make your clients engage and feel comfortable, motivate your clients and use things like exposure techniques, behavioural experiments and the Socratic approach as an effective tool in sessions.
