In addition to the Commercial Insurance Broking, we can offer Health and Safety Risk Assessments, we have a partner business for asset and other forms of commercial finance, access to FORS training within the Haulage Industry and Neuro Linguistic Programming that can be added as an additional service to help customers achieve and obtain the results they require from their customers and workforce.

ARC was set up by myself in August 2018 after I worked for an Insurance Broker for over 20 years and I have now reached the point where I am at full capacity with administration and in order to grow the business and move it forward I need somebody who shares my passion, desire, dreams and enthusiasm to grow.

Vacancy Full Description

  • To help grow the business with the acquisition of new Commercial Insurance Clients maximising business opportunities
  • Meet Growth Targets set
  • Undertake general broking activities as required including but not limited to dealing with client queries and correspondence, new business, renewals and adjustments, effective pre-renewal
  • reviews and understanding the scope of cover and policy wording
  • Ability to communicate to the client clearly and remain compliant at all times
  • Closing New Business Deals
  • Risk Presentations
  • Insurance Broking and communicating with Insurers Direct
  • Claims Handling
  • Attend Client Meetings and manage your own Diary
  • Timely completion of Risk Requirements following Insurer Surveys
  • Credit Control
  • Create good relationships with Insurance Companies

Skills Required

Must have the following skills:

  • Have the ability to respect other people’s belief’s and values whilst making sure that you take care of yourself
  • Honouring your own and other people’s actions as best you can do at the time, understanding that you are no better than they are
  • Seeing every one of your actions as best you can whilst striving to learn more
  • Taking responsibility as a good communicator to explain what you mean. Paying attention to feedback from the other person. Acknowledging the intentions of others while paying attention to the effect you have on them, as they perceive it. There is no failure in communication, only responses!
  • Constantly looking for excellence so you can model it, noticing your own moments of excellence and modelling them so you can have more of them – learning from everyone you meet.
  • Constantly testing your limits and testing your beliefs
  • You must be skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems including Microsoft Office (full training will be provided for the bespoke Insurance Software if required)
  • Organisational Skills are a must – you will be required to produce accurate records and documents and remain compliant at all times
  • Display Proactivity and Good Judgement
  • Take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks
  • Excellent Sales Skills
  • Good Knowledge of Commercial Insurance Products – minimum of CERT CII
  • Have the ability to have good rapport with your clients
  • Have the ability to find and source New Business and work from home, motivating yourself
  • Able to use CRM system, social media and marketing platforms

Qualifications Required

  • 4 GCSE including Maths and English Level 4 and/or above
  • Cert CII or above

  • Full UK Driving Licence Essential (Free Onsite Car Parking Available for when visiting the office)
